How is ecoSky powered by renewable energy?

ecoSky contributes to a sustainable economy by incorporating the use of renewable energy in our operations. In order to provide optimum efficiency and reliability, our server infrastructure relies on renewable energy credits. ecoSky differentiates itsself from other providers by generating renewable energy on-site at our administrative office. We use solar photovoltaic panels mounted on the roof-top to produce our energy. We are also "grid connected". This means that when we produce alot of energy in the summer months, we feed excess energy back to the grid to be used by others. In times of low sunlight when we need more electricity than we are currently generating, we draw power back from the grid. If and when we do so, rest assured that the energy we purchase is going directly to support the production of wind power.

Our goal is to always maximize our energy-production abilities to ensure that we are always producing as much energy as our operations require. We have deveoped revolutionary techniques in utilizing low-consumption technology to power our operations. For example, a typical workstation PC in our office might draw as little as 25 watts of energy! This coupled with effective day-lighting, compact flourescents, and creative heat-transfer design allows us to use energy wisely.
